Congratulations to Grade 9 pupil, Tristan Somerville who was placed in 1st position in the Physical Science Project School Competition. 

Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) , in partnership with Edutrade and Vodacom invited 33 schools to participate the Science Expo which formed part of the Africa Engineering Week in September.  Pupils were given an opportunity to present their science projects to a panel of scientists and academics from MUT.  Over 800 pupils participated over 3 days and Westville Boys’ High School’s Tristan Somerville was placed in 1st position.

Representatives from MUT, Vodacom and Edutrade attended school assembly on Wednesday 18 November to present Tristan and the School with their award – a science kit to the value of R25 000.
