On Sunday 31 July and Monday 1 August, Victoria Country club hosted the annual KZN Inter Schools Golf event.
75 golfers from 14 high schools competed in the event. Weather conditions were perfect for Golf but the course was tricky and the greens proved to be a tough test.
Nikhil Gopal from St Charles won the individual title on a score of 140, with Jono Broomhead from Westville 2nd on 148 and Sean Gilson, Michaelhouse on 153.
The team event was won by Westville Boys’ High on a score on 956, followed by St Charles on 969 and Hilton A on 977.
This event has been played over the past 10 years, with Westville winning 5 times and rivals Hilton College winning 5 times.
