85 boys from schools in KZN took part in the 1st round of KZN Golf Trials on Sunday, 5 February at Victoria Country club to to cement their place in the KZN Schools’ team which will be chosen at the end of the year after 7 rounds of trials. WBHS 1st Basketball remained unbeaten at home this season as the team added Kearsney to their impressive list of successes by beating them 49-34  Although the score indicates an easy game, it was a well fought game and Kearsney were very aggressive and much more focussed than their Westville counter parts. First XI on a High!
The WBHS 1st XI Cricket team are KZN T20 Champions and now go on to represent the province in the national finals in Potchefstroom in two week’s time. In Friday’s match played at the Pietermaritzburg Oval,  the 1st XI defeated Maritzburg College by 23 runs with Luke Schlemmer named as man of the match for his 62 runs and 3 wickets  for 12 runs.
