The Matric Speech Night and Prize-Giving was held on Thursday 12 October 2017 in the Multi-Purpose Centre.
Guest of Honour, Craig Coombe, who was head boy of 1988, delivered an inspiring speech on overcoming obstacles and the importance of resilience and surrounding oneself with positive people; Deputy Head Boy Jonty Ross spoke on connecting the dots from his first experience of the School in Grade 8; Head Boy Sheldon Veldsman thanked the Matrics, teachers and parents for their support; while Headmaster Trevor Hall spoke on averting unnecessary.
