Sixty-eight high school learners participated in the first round of the BDO Quiz held at Westville Boys’ High school on 20 February 2013. Teams of four, from five schools in the Highway area, answered a selection of general knowledge questions.
Westville Boys’ High School was the winning team with Thomas More College placed second. Both teams will go through to the final round which will be held on the 18 April at Clifton School.
The winning school from the final round receives books to the value of R10 000 which are donated to a disadvantaged school of their choice.

Star College – 2 teams entered
Thomas More College – 2 teams entered
Pinetown Boys’ High School – 1 team entered
