TREVOR HALL PICWestville Boys’ High will be well represented again at the World Leading Schools Conference. This year’s conference, to be held in Amsterdam, focuses on the theme of “Deepening Global Learning through New Technologies.” Apart from the academic and technical nature of the topics, the conference also aims to develop thinking on the personal skills required of students for ultimate success in modern global environments.

Following his keynote speech at the WLSA Conference (Yale University, 2013), Trevor Hall has been asked to chair the WLSA Curriculum Development Research group, which seeks to further develop the characteristics required of students in addition to academic requirements. He will also play a leading role as a facilitator of the conference programme.

WBHS has nominated its sister school, Westville Girls’ High, for associate membership of WLSA. WGHS will be represented by Headmistress Catherine Raw. Being a Drama and Communications expert, she is likely to add considerable value to discussions at the conference.
