Grant Hewitt in action for WBHS 1st team
Westville began their summer Waterpolo fixtures by hosting Michaelhouse over the weekend.
The hosts had an excellent day in the pool, only narrowly losing the second team game 4-5 and comfortably winning most of the others with the 14A winning 17-2 the 15A winning 9-1.
The 1st team game was an exciting game with the lead changing throughout the 1st half and WBHS going into half time with a 1 goal lead. In the second half Westville scored early to take a 2 goal lead and Michaelhouse clawed their way back to level the game 5-5. In the last quarter both teams missed their chances to win the game and the game ended all even at 6-6.
