It is with great pleasure that we announce that Bryce Calvert and Gcinokuhle Mdletshe have both been selected as part of the SA U18 High Performance training squad that has been scheduled to take on Georgia in Tbilisi later this month.
Their selections come as no surprise as both have consistently been involved in SA training squads over the last 3 years. Earlier this year Bryce signed with the Sharks and is touted to have a bright future in the game. Not only is he a powerful and explosive player but a great leader too.
Gcinokuhle is a softly spoken and humble young man. A big man in stature but one who doesn’t rely solely on his size to impose himself on oppositions. He plays the game with a lot of intelligence and skill. It is great to see him being rewarded for this.
We are proud of both these young men and have no doubt they will represent us with distinction in the green and gold colours.
