Congratulations to Jack Cubitt (Grade 11) who has been selected for the SA High Schools Golf Team. The IPT was hosted by Ekuruleni at the South Downs Country Club in Alberton from 22-24 September. The KZN team finished second behind Gauteng North. The SA Schools team will play against a combined SA University and Sunshine tour pro team at Waterkloof Country Club on 13th October. Well done Jack!
Jacks’ twin brother, Luke also played in the KZN Schools Golf team. They have both been part of the WBHS 1st Golf team since their Grade 9 year. This year, they have won numerous KZN Junior Golf events between them, including the Men’s Club Champs at both Selbourne and Umdoni Golf clubs where they are members.
