Three Westville Boys’ High School boys have reached the highest level they can in sport while at school, and were awarded Merit Ties last week.

The Merit Tie is awarded to pupils at the School who have made the highest team possible while a schoolboy. It is an award higher than an Honours award.

Luke James  who has been selected for the SA Men’s Gymnastics Team to qualify for this year’s Olympics. He is the only KZN Representative at senior level to make his division.

Ethan Matkovich who has been selected for the SA U18 Hockey side to take part in the National U21 IPT.

Troy Botha who made the SA U18 Softball team which has just returned from New Zealand after participating in the Softball World Cup.

Well done to these boys.
