Westville Boys’ High school held its Fifth Annual Careers Expo on the 28th February 2013. The Expo, which was extremely well attended, caters to the academically inclined, those young people looking into the Trade fields as well as those interested in pursuing a career in sport. The aim of this Careers Exhibition is to open up as many options as possible, giving learners access to many Universities, Universities of Technology and FET Colleges as well as exposing them to the variety of career choices that are available.
“Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person will ever make. Unfortunately, many people make career choices without much career guidance. Westville Boys’ High School facilitates this Expo so that learners can make informed choices,” said Rishma Nyar, the Westville Boys’ High School expo co-ordinator.
