The World Leading Schools Association (WLSA) was founded in 2011, with the aim of uniting young leaders from across the globe. Starting with only five associate schools, they have grown to incorporate sixty schools across the world and over 500 registered students.
The Student Council and the Council Board collaborate closely to plan and prepare for the global conferences that take place annually for both students and educators.
Following a rigorous application process, Westville Boys’ High School congratulates Aidan Pillay (Grade 11) and Shivaar Ramsudh (Grade 10) who have been selected to represent South Africa on the Student Council. This achievement is made even more outstanding by the fact that of the ten council members from throughout the world, two are from South Africa and more importantly, are representing Westville Boys’ High School.
We are extremely proud of these young men and believe that Aiden and Shivaar will represent their country and their School with distinction, as they proudly continue the noble tradition initiated by their peers, David Weber (2016 to 2018) and Nivan Poken and Claudio Govender (President), (2018 to 2020).
