The winning team from WBHS
Durban Country Club played host to the annual KZN Schools’ Championships on Monday and Wednesday last week. Ten of the KZN top schools battled it out over 36 holes in teams of 8 players.
Westville player Clayton Mansfield finished in 3rd position individually with scores of 75 and 73 with Jason Broomhead in 4th place (74,75) and Ben Botha in 7th place (77,77). These scores were backed up by teammates Matt Harcus, Matthew Hayward, Gareth Simmonds, Garryth Jackson and Mitchell Scholtz.
Westville were crowned champions, winning by 21 shots over 2nd place Kearsney College with Hilton College finishing in 3rd position.
