WBHS 1st XV Cricket vs College 2016
Westville had an excellent start to their 2016 sporting season last Saturday against Maritzburg College.
Rain played havoc with the cricket fixtures as Westville’s fields had been flooded by rain and most games were cancelled. A few, including the 1st XI game were moved to College.
Up there, Westville’s 1st team Cricket managed to record an historic victory over their College rivals beating them by 4 wickets on Goldstones.
All Water polo matches took place at Westville with the hosts winning all 8 games and the Westville F1st teamcomprehensively outscoring their College rivals by 18 goals to 4.
The Basketball fixtures were also played at Westville and were very close affairs with the home team getting the edge on the visitors in the under 14A and under 15A games and narrowly losing the under 16A and First Team games.
